Akrokerri College of Education invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Lecturer – Physics.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach Physics courses in the B.Ed. programme

• Prepare teaching, learning and assessment materials

• Conduct continuous assessment and examinations

• Supervise students research projects and supported teaching in schools (STS).

• Conduct research and publish in recognised academic journals

• Mentor students and participate in college and departmental activities

Qualification Required & Experience

• First Degree, MPhil and PhD in Physics or a related field from a recognised university

• Professional teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGDE or Diploma in Education)

• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the tertiary level

• Computer literacy and the ability to integrate technology into teaching and research
