OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE
• Lead and oversee the Human Resource Information Systems function to ensure effective system performance, data integrity, alignment with HR strategies and policies, and effective team support for HRIS activities.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Manage and administer the core HRIS system and related applications, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, issue resolution, documentation, and coordination of upgrades or fixes with Digital Technology.
• Support HRIS strategy by aligning systems with business and HR needs, contributing to future systems planning, recommending improvements, and supporting HR automation initiatives.
• Ensure accurate capture and processing of operational and employee data, maintain data integrity, manage records retrieval, and produce reports and analysis for HR and operational decision-making.
• Provide HRIS support and liaison services to HR, payroll, budget, Digital Technology, internal customers, and other stakeholders, including resolving process issues and recommending practical solutions.
• Lead, train, supervise, and evaluate HRIS support personnel, while participating in recruitment and ongoing capability development of the team.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, audit, policy, regulatory, and industry requirements, including implementation of HR SOX controls and closure of audit findings.
Qualification Required & Experience
Education & Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Systems, Information Technology or related field.
Experience
• 3-5 years of experience in HRIS roles or related business systems.
• At least 2 years of experience working with SAP SuccessFactors system.
• Supervisory experience, preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
• Strong analytical and data management skills for accurate HR reporting and decision support.
• Proficiency in HRIS software and database management such as SAP or similar systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
• Advanced use of MS Office tools such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Solid understanding of human resource policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Knowledge of critical HR metrics and data analysis methods.
• Demonstrated ability to make effective and timely decisions and develop action plans.
• Ability to build effective working relationships, communicate effectively, and promote collaboration and teamwork.
• High integrity, accountability, problem-solving capability, and results orientation.
